04-13-1942 John W. Kerr, beloved husband of the late Janet Stewart, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Kerr, Fertile Creek, Québec. Age 83 years. He is survived by one daughter and three grandchildren. The Funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon from his daughters residence, service conducted by the Rev. Mr. Hudson.

Funeral service held at the home of Mr. Arthur Kerr, Fertile Creek, on Saturday, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Donald P. McKay. She was daughter of the late Janet Taylor and the late Alexander Bishop Stewart. She leaves to mourn, her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Kerr, and three grandchildren, Interred in Georgetown Cemetery.
