Surviving are her husband, two sons, Gerald of Howick and Stewart of Sherbrooke, one daughter, Mrs. Hynes of Toronto, two sisters, Mrs. Beatty of Montreal, and Mrs. Currie of Howick. Funeral services were held in Knox Church, and service was conducted by the Rev. Roy McGregor, assisted by the Rev. John Marshall. Interment in the Georgetown Cemetery.

ROY, Adeline May (nee Robertson) Addie passed away on Sept. 24, 2010 in Ormstown, QC in her ninety-ninth year. Predeceased by her husband Gerald, son Kenneth, brother Harold and sister Olive. Survived by her sister Reta Tanner, daughter-in-law Jean and grandchildren Grant (Caroline) and Sandra, also survived by five great-grandchildren - Logan and Tanner Williams and Bailey, Shannon and Lindsay Roy. Addie was active in the community for many years. She was past-president of the Canadian Ladies Curling Association and a member of the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame. A private family service will be held at a later date. By family request, donations may be made to the Women's Auxiliary of the Barrie Memorial Hospital, 24 Gale Street, Ormstown, QC., J0S 1K0. Arrangements entrusted to McGerrigle Funeral Home Inc. Ormstown.
